We are finally here!!!
Cyclone is a full service mixed martial arts center. We are located at 4555 Las Positas Rd Unit E in Livermore. We will be offering Olympic style Tae Kwon Do, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Muay Thai, wrestling, Cardio Combat (a spiced up form of Crossfit, TRX, and Px9, all put together), and a private weight room for our Fight Team and Personal Training clients. Our state-of-the-art facility consists of a 9,000 sqf building with over 7,000 sqf of training area. Our instructors have years of experience and are active members in their chosen styles. Cyclone Martial Arts and Fitness has the most comprehensive martial arts program in Livermore, offering classes for the entire family in a safe clean and fun environment. All our classes are taught by professionals. Our goal is to be open and ready for business May 2010. We will have awesome martial arts and conditioning equipment, special floors for the Cardio Combat training area, and more open space for martial arts training than any other school in the surrounding areas.
Martial Arts Training Program

Martial art training is a lot more than just exercise, self-defense, and fun; Under proper instruction, it is the most effective form of cross training for any sport. It will enhance self-esteem, stamina, strength, power, and total conditioning by improving your reflexes and giving you a winning attitude that can be applied to any aspect of life. It will help you overcome personal barriers and become more self reliant at any age.

At Cyclone Martial Arts and Fitness, we look at every accomplishment achieved by the student as being meaningful. In martial arts each accomplishment will be rewarded with a belt that represents that achievement. For that reason, we do not give belts away. Students will earn their belts and they will only progress into the next level if they can master the skills being taught.

We believe that frequency, consistency, and hard work are the keys to success in martial arts. Being able to access what you learn through competition is one of many ways of testing yourself and the techniques learned. We highly encourage our members to compete, but we also recognize that not all our students are looking for competition level training and for those who aren't, we will provide the best coaching and safest environment available so that they will have the opportunity to learn without fear of injury.

Olympic Style Tae Kwon Do:
This program is run by James Howe. James has been involved with Olympic Style Tae Kwon Do for the last 15 years. He has been a member of the U.S. National Team for the last 3 years and a Silver Medalist in the 2008 PamAm Games. James program is dedicated to the competition aspect of Tae Kwon Do. We will have the best TKD Team in the Bay Area!

Wrestling
Our wrestling program is run by Brett Hallenbeck. Brett was a Division I Pacific Ten at U.C. Davis. Brett will be working in conjunction with our other instructors in the development of our MMA program. He has earned a reputation as a tough coach that gets results (kids 14 and over).

Muay Thai
This class will be thought by Adam Dunkle. Adam is a young and tough fighter. He has completed in many BJJ tournaments (Gi and No Gi), and also MMA events. Adam is a sharp coach that will take your body and mind to the next level. Be ready for this one!! (16 and over)

Cardio Combat
This class will be run by Fabiano Brasil. He has been involved with Martial Arts and MMA for the past 30 years. He has worked with Olymppic Athletes, Professional MMA fighters, and other extreme athletes. Fabiano has developed a program that he calls “Cardio Combat”. This program is a combination of years of experience as a personal trainer and fighter. It consists of Polymeric, calisthenics, Olympic lifting & fighting drills. It will be the most challenging and intense workout you’ve ever had. We will be using special equipment and a rack that has been developed specifically for this class. Experience Cardio Combat and find out what working out really is. Class size limited and a physical assessment is required.
